It's time to play catch up with my blog reader once again. Things have gotten crazy busy in my world. (and let's be honest, there's a trick-or-treat game on the Fluff friends application on Facebook...I'm a sucker for those games...)
Things at work have been crazy too, I'm just hoping nothing has issues today. Monday morning was two of the largest mapped drives that had issues. LOTS of panicked phone calls. Seriously, our dependence on technology? Little intense. (I'm beyond guilty of it myself)
Monday late morning and into last night our email systems decided to have a bit of drama. It turns out that it had been brewing since Friday, but finally came to a head Monday. We have two main email systems, MP and Exchange. Here's the breakdown:
MP was talking to MP
Exchange was talking to Exchange
MP was talking to Exchange, but Exchange wasn't talking to MP
Exchange was talking to Gmail, but wouldn't listen when Gmail tried to reply.
MP wasn't talking to Gmail or Yahoo.
Yahoo wasn't talk to MP or Exchange.
And thus, it was decided that our email systems had hit their teenage years and were having some serious high school drama.
It's been a busy week so far. I'm hoping nothing breaks for the rest of the week.

Oh! Jaina,
What a fun read today. I had to try twice before my post published this morning. Which reminds me, if you check out my "Quotes and Things" today there is an award waiting for you....;)
Gramma Ann-Thanks, I'm glad you liked it, I had a lot of fun writing it. :) I'll be over soon to check it out, thank you so much!
Sounds exhausting!
I hope you aren't in IT Support.
I haven't been a good reader lately, but there are pumpkins to be carved, children to be wrestled with, and the ever notorious monster called Mt. Laundry.
Kim-Definitely is for the email systems. We're just getting a lot of phone calls...but on the upside, it makes the day go by really fast.
Bee-I most definitely do work in IT support...I'm at the helpdesk, so we get all the initial calls. Can't tell you how many times I've told the same story over and over. Oh also? It had even MORE drama today...this time it was bouncebacks (BIG headache)But I think the email admins and our vendors played referee and got things under control late this afternoon. We'll see what the rest of this week holds.
Bee-Also, no worries, I'm glad you're having quality time with your kids :) I've been really bad about reading my blogs as well....I'm in the process of trying to catch up!
I agree... and understand. It is exhausting.
I love your gramma ann.
I feel ya sister. Me thinks you need a vacation.
OHmommy-It actually wasn't too bad, just annoying that it took so long to fix. Gramma Ann is great, she's an awesome reader :)
MamaGeek-Oh how I wish I could have one. But things got all fixed and it's a nice easy Friday.
