LCD

I'm planning a ritual gravity defiance courtesy of my stupid cell phone. Well, not really. Unless they actually let me throw it off the roof. They being the fiance and one of our groomsmen. (sorry, he doesn't have a creative nickname yet, too annoyed at the moment) They may have just been trying to make me smile earlier, we'll have to see.

The darn thing worked just fine when my mom called this morning. I didn't drop it or anything. I walked into the office, set it down on my desk and forgot about it for about 20 minutes until I went to call my grandpa to ask him a quick question about a music book I was ordering. The phone worked, but the screen did not. My guess is it's either the backlight or a connection. I don't know the inner workings of phones like I do computers, but my guess is a connection. That or the damn thing just hates me. At least I can still make and receive calls. Forget about texts though. I get to go to the cell phone store tomorrow. At the mall. Yeah, notice the excitement in my voice. I just LOVE the mall. <---there would be a bunch of strike throughs back there except I don't remember the coding Mr. Lady so kindly provided in a recent post and I don't feel like looking. I'm even too irritated to try to link to her. With my luck today it would break. If you don't know her, you should. She's on my sidebar. Whiskey In My Sippy Cup. You can thank me later.

I promise photographic evidence if the phone attempts to defy gravity. It might even have its own song...

I understand wanting to throw the dumb thing off the roof. I hate when my phone isn't working. This last one that I got I haven't had any problems with, yet. It's almost 2 years old, so I problably just jinxed it.
I hope that your mall experience isn't too painful. Hopefully it will be just a quick trip. But if you're anything like me when I go to the mall, I have to stop at almost ALL the shoe stores that we pass by. What can I say, its a weakness. :)

LOL... What did we do without cell phones? I never leave home without mine.

I don't text, HATE IT.. I tell my grandchildren call me! If I want them I text, I know then they will get back to me pretty quick. But, I still HATE it. LOL...

That sucks, Jaina! I had a bunch of problems with my phone at the end of last year. Thankfully, it's all worked out and good. NOW I WANT AN IPHONE!!! :)

Totally frustrating. Sometimes technology is just not worth the trouble.

Heidi-Haha, I am not a shoe person. I can't stand the things. I know, I'm weird, I think shoes are evil. Haha. Luckily I didn't have to go to the mall. My phone is still broken, but we're looking at getting a new plan, so it should all be okay soon.

Gramma Ann-Seriously! I have a love/hate relationship with my phone...more of a hate at the moment.

Jessica-I'm hoping this works out soon. iPhones are fun, I hope you're able to get one.

Mandy-Couldn't agree more.

I had a screen go out as well and I couldn't see any texts. Bummer!
