100 and going strong...

I just noticed that I'm on post 100. I thought I'd already passed it. I considered doing something significant for this one, but it really is just a post...and I'm completely drained and can't come up with anything clever. I'm a little annoyed by this emotional roller coaster I've been on since my family left yesterday. It's seriously bizarre, I haven't cried this much (or at all) in ages. I vaguely remember reading something that emotions can be bizarre post-mono...so I'm chalking it up to that and hoping I get over it soon. I think a little extra sleep will help, I get a bit off when I don't have enough sleep. But seriously I promise I'm okay...just a little odd the past few days. I'm at the point of laughing at myself it's so ridiculous.

...side note: I finally saw Frosted Pink with a Twist, it was great. :) So neat seeing how it turned out. I have it on DVD from my boss Lily, so I'll be getting it up on here soon. (I'll even give time counts to let you know when you can actually see me)

Anyways, on a different note, I have a few new songs that I'm absolutely in love with. Here's the lyrics to one of them. I'm a little obsessed with this song, it's so great. I first heard it at the end of a really great episode of Bones, and finally got it when my parents gave me the Bones soundtrack, and it's amazing. Okay...I'll stop babbling now...

Running Up That Hill
by Placebo

It doesn't hurt me.
You want to feel, how it feels?
You want to know, know that it doesn't hurt me?
You want to hear about the deal I'm making.
You, (If I only could, be running up that hill)
You and me (If I only could, be running up that hill)

And if I only could,
Make a deal with God,
Get him to swap our places,
Be running up that road,
Be running up that hill,
Be running up that building.
If I only could

You don't want to hurt me,
But see how deep the bullet lies.
Unaware that I'm tearing you asunder.
There's a thunder in our hearts, baby

So much hate for the ones we love?
Tell me, we both matter, don't we?
You, (If I only could, be running up that hill)
You and me (If I only could, be running up that hill)
You and me, won't be unhappy

And if I only could,
Make a deal with God,
And get him to swap our places,
Be running up that road,
Be running up that hill,
Be running up that building.
If I only could

Come on, baby, come on, come on, darling,
Let me steal this moment from you now.
Come on angel, come on, come on, darling,
Let's exchange the experience

And if I only could,
Make a deal with God,
And get him to swap our places,
Be running up that road,
Be running up that hill,
With no problems.

And if I only could,
Make a deal with God,
And I'd get him to swap our places,
Be running up that road,
Be running up that hill,
With no problems.

If I only could, be running up that hill
If I only could, be running up that hill
If I only could, be running up that hill
If I only could, be running up that hill
If I only could, be running up that hill
If I only could, be running up that hill
If I only could, be running up that hill

Hey! It's alright to be melancholy for a day or two after your family leaves. But, it will pass~~~~

As far as the song, I guess you had to be there;) Maybe if I heard the melody it would make more sense, or, this is probably the reason, I'm to old for this kind of song.... anywho, you go right on enjoying it.

Maybe you need some chocolate to help you feel better. Hee, hee!!

Gramma Ann-Thanks :) If you want to hear the song, here's a link to YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hXEx_tgh3E (I didn't actually watch the video, just needed the audio) Chocolate may definitely be helpful...in the meantime, I have the Halloween mother's circus animal cookies and the fall candy corn/pumpkin mix from my Grama. :)

Kim-Thanks!! I've had some chocolate. And the best part is that I'm going home this weekend to help my brother with his video project and to go through my old room to help my mom get it set up as a guest room. (we're having Thanksgiving at my house...just found out)

I love the song, it speaks to me. I'm glad you posted it, I needed to hear it tonight. Congratulations on your 100th post. Now your suppose to, as blogging legend goes, post 100 things about yourself. I never did it, but it is fun to read other peoples.

I hope you feel better. Post-Mono Syndrome can make your emotions like a merry go roung. Sleep, eating well, going out for walks, etc. You know the drill, those things all seem to help. I don't often follow my own advice, but I should.

The good thing about emotions is they change. Say hello to the sadness, accept it is there and tell it to go on its way. It will go on its way. I promise.

Love and happy vibes to a very special person.

Cheryl-I'm so glad you like the song...I'm a little obsessed with it right now. I'll have to work on that 100 things post. Maybe I'll have it ready to go by my 200th post. And thank you, I will try to follow that advice. You're absolutely right about emotions...mine are already on the rise (it helps that I'm going home for the weekend tomorrow)
