Exercise and Headaches

Warning: This post is mostly made up of whining.

I'm not quite as incapacitated as I was Monday, I am still at work. (though only because the most wonderful bf ever came down and massaged my neck and shoulders during lunch) I have asked my friends to just hit me over the head with something to make it stop hurting. (yes, I realize this is silly, but I'm in pain and not required think rationally at the moment)
I was fine yesterday (aside from being dangerously close to the edge in the morning) But, as my friend and supervisor pointed out, I also played tennis last night. In my insanity brought on by the extreme tension in my neck and pounding skull, made a connection. Monday morning I got up and went for a brisk walk. Monday I ended up with a mind breaking headache that was so bad I had to leave work and go home. Yesterday I was pretty good, and then we played tennis. Incidentally, we only played for about 45 minutes because I started to feel pressure building in my head. Today, my head is hurting again. Conclusions? I must have somehow become allergic to physical activity. Ugh.

Anybody want to hit me over the head with a sledgehammer to make it stop hurting so badly?

....didn't think so. Nobody seems up for that task. So instead I'm going to hold on until 4:30, head home and call my mommy, take a hot shower (possibly bubble bath) with the hopes that it will relax the muscles in my neck. I plan to make a hot bowl of soup (ramen of course), and lay down in bed with ice on my neck and head, and watch a movie. The bf offered to come over after his tennis games after work and give me another massage, which should be lovely, after which, I plan to pass out. And I am going to wake up feeling perfect. Because tomorrow is L's 21st birthday. I am not going to miss her birthday. I can't. (besides, my head hurting like this is just no fun)

Here ends my post of complete whine.

Oh, I'm sorry you are feeling so bad. I hope you got to feeling better once you got home. My daughter Chloe gets awful headaches - I know it is not fun! Take care, Sweetie - see you soon - Kellan

Maybe you need to see a Doctor, if the headaches don't let up soon. I hope you feel better tomorrow when you wake up. Rest and try to throw that stress out the window...

I wish you were feeling better. I wish I had some great advice, except talk to your doctor. Mine finally gave me some medication that helped.

What a nice boyfriend you have. What a nice reason for massages.

I hope you not only get to the birthday celebration, but have a blast because you are pain free.

I will be thinking of you.

Thanks everyone for the get well wishes, they worked! :) (that and my mom is a bona fide genius) I'm also slightly embarrassed about the cause of the headaches, but the important part is I've fixed them and I think I'm going to be all better now. Definitely not staying out until 2am tonight, but I'll get to go to the party! :)
