Fall is Falling

I've never really disliked fall, but it's never really been my favorite season. So imagine my surprise to find myself actually looking forward to this new season. I have to imagine it has something to do with not being in school anymore. No homework or papers or classes to occupy my time. This is my first "free" autumn...I'm free to enjoy it, to drink it in. Granted, I'm ridiculously busy...but that's mostly of my own doing and I can work on scaling that back a bit. I'm really excited for my first "grown up" fall. I'm excited for the cooler weather, the warm drinks like spiced cider. I'm excited for the changing leaves and the autumn moon, the pumpkins and scarecrows. I'm excited for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Fall is going to be great! (especially because I don't really have to worry about tests or papers...conducting doesn't count...it's just fun!)
